2am and The Vibes.

I was talking to this girl after writing my last blog and she sent me a link to a poem by Charles Bukowski (link at the end) in which he talks about the spark. That how you can't force the spark, how you can't force to write or draw.
I was kind of upset after writing the last blog because I though I would never get the urge to draw again. But I felt better and lighter somehow after talking to her. And it got me thinking. It got me thinking as to how close you can get to a person in a matter of weeks, how you can instantly click with someone who you've knows for days and not feel a single thing with someone you've known for years.

something I made sometime back

I have friends who I've known a really long time and I still never get the urge to call them or talk to them or even hang out with them. But some people who I've known for only few months, they tend to reach my dark areas and insecurities so easily and I genuinely look forward to spend time with them. I've known that girl for only few months now but whenever I feel like talking to some at 2am, I find myself searching her name in my contacts. I talked about random walks and talking to strangers for hours in my last blog. See, I really felt a click with few of these people and even though we don't keep in touch, I sometimes do get happy thinking about that moment.

I'm not saying this is the case everytime, as a matter of fact this happens very rarely. I think all I'm trying to say is time doesn't matter, not in friendship and not in love. I just think some people have the vibe. The vibe which inspires you to talk endlessly and not get bored, the vibe which automatically makes you think positively. I feel really lucky that I've known so many people like this because these are the kind of people who change you for the better. These are the people who change the way you look at the world. These are the people who improve you in each and every sense and even though you can't completely open yourself each and everytime, these people know how to get to your darkest corners.

And if you're really lucky, and I mean really really lucky, you fall in love with one of them and they decide to love you back.

So You Wanna Be A Writer by Charles Bukowski-

  1. Wow. i can't get over 1. your drawing (like omg. you've got real talent there, dear) and 2. the depth and trueness and beauty of what and how you write. Amazing post :)

    1. Thank you so much, your blog is amazing as well. :)
